Tokatsudake Onsen (Kamifurano-cho)

Utoro Hot Springs is located near the port of Utoro, facing the Sea of Okhotsk, on the west side of the Shiretoko Peninsula (Shiretoko Hantou), known as World Natural Heritage. It is also famous as the largest hot spring resort in Hokkaido, and is a convenient base for sightseeing in Shiretoko. There are several hot spring inns with a view of the Shiretoko Peninsula and the Sea of Okhotsk, and there are also facilities that have an open-air bath to allow you to watch the sunset over the Sea of Okhotsk if you go to higher ground.

In January, drift ice berths off the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, so there are many inns where you can enjoy hot springs while watching the drift ice. The ice floe, which is a brown-brown hot spring that flows from the source of the water, and looks up close while warming from the core of the body, brings a hot spring experience that cannot be tasted in other areas.
Lake Shikari Betsu Kotan Ice Open-surface Bath (Shikaoi-cho)

Shikari-Betsu Kotan is a "phantom village" that appears on the lake (Shikari-betsuko) only during midwinter when snow accumulations. The "igloo", an Inuit domed dwelling made only of snow and ice, is lined up on the lake, where ice lodges, ice bars, and outdoor baths can be used.

Among them, the popular sources are the Kiko outdoor bath and the Hikami foot bath. The source is the one of the hot springs in the pipeline, and the only one on the ice is the only one in the world. Marukoma Onsen (Chitose City)

Marukoma Onsen (Marukoma Onsen) is a one-of-a-kind inn that springs up on the northern shore of Lake Shikotsu (Shikotsuko), and a natural open-air bath whose depth varies depending on the water level of Lake Shikotsu is known. Its history is old, and at the time when it opened in 1915, it is said that horses hauling sulfur in Eniwa City (Eniwashi) were exhausting in the hot water of Marukoma Onsen. It boasts one of Japan's largest outdoor baths for more than 200 people at a time, and you can enjoy a fantastic snowy bath lit up in winter.
