
Tenchi Udon Main Store
A chain of udon stores that it was named because the area was a tenryō in the Edo period. Around 1955, Tenji Udon 380 yen, a popular menu devised by the shop's noodle maker, is Kamaage Udon, which is eaten with freshly boiled noodles as they are in dark-eyed soup. The store's policy of "good and cheap" is shown as it is, with 580 yen for shrimp udon noodles, two rice balls and inarizushi 180 yen each, and 120 yen for various kinds of oden.
