Onsenzu, also known as Nayu Onsenzu Hot Springs, is a port town that was bustled in the Middle Ages as a loading port for Ishiki Ginzan. The hot spring town, which extends from the port to the mountain side, has a good modern town in the narrow valley line, and has a nostalgic atmosphere. In the central part of the onsen town, there are two communal bathhouses, the Motoyusumi Senshuyu and the Yakushiyu, and the houses of the machiya and onsen inns built from the late Edo period to the early Showa period. The surrounding area is dotted with shrines and temples related to Ginzan, and it is also good for walking. In 2004, it was selected as a preservation area for the important traditional buildings of the country, and in 2007, it was registered as a part of the World Cultural Heritage Site "Ishiki Ginzan Site and its Cultural Landscape".
