Yamada-san's ranch milk village

毎日持ち込まれる生産者直売の農産物や漬け物などの手作りの加工品が人気。春はポピーが咲き、秋は約100万本のコスモス畑があって、一帯がピンクに染まる。レストランでは、地元の野菜や加工品を中心とした、定食やだんご汁が人気。

A campsite located in a leisure spot where the great nature prevails. A barbecue table is set up on the veranda of the lodge, and you can enjoy the barbecue while looking at Mount Kinmine, a symbol of Kumamoto City. On a clear day, a view of Unsen Fukendake is also possible. In addition to the campsite, an outdoor stage is also provided. There are also unique facilities such as a beetle-shaped dome.

Located about 25 minutes from the Kumamoto city area, a sightseeing ranch of about 330,000 square meters where you can learn dairy farming and get in touch with the animals. It houses the world's five largest breeds of dairy cattle: Holstein, Jersey, Gandhi, Ayrshire, and Brown-Swiss. Homemade dairy products made at a milk factory in the park, using blended milk pressed from that dairy cow, can be tasted at restaurants and purchased at the "milk market", a product house. There is also a full day at the ranch, where you can enjoy the excitement of goat and sheep races, experience milk squeezing and feeding, as well as eating experiences such as ice and cheese making using dairy products.
