Kikuchi Shrine

One of the best scenic spots in Kyushu, where the underground water that sprung up from Mt. Souta in Aso flows as a stream, and the natural forest created a varied landscape. The flow is counted in the "100 Meizu of Japan", and the valley is dotted with exquisite scenic spots. In summer, it is called a natural cooler, and it will make the hearts of people who visit it throughout the four seasons, such as autumn leaves and spring fresh greens.

清流迫間川のほとりに立つ菊池温泉の宿・清流荘で、日帰り入浴が可能だ。なめらかで湯量豊富な良泉は、清流を見下ろしながら入れる露天風呂「ほたるの湯」や、岩風呂の内湯のほか、それぞれ雰囲気の異なる造りで好評の12室ある貸切家族風呂「湯の倉」で楽しめる。

A hot spring facility that is also used as a public bathhouse, attached to the ryokan Jōnoi located in Kikuchi Onsen. Skin-friendly alkaline simple hot springs fill the bathtub. A private bath and a family bath are also available. There is no installation of soap, shampoo, etc. in the public baths, so it is better to bring my amenities (available for sale).
