Road station located along Route 238 facing Lake Saroma. It plays the role of a tourist base facility along the coast of Okhotsk, and in the building, which is based on the image of a cattle barn and a silo, there are special products such as scallops and pumpkins from Lake Saroma. At the fast food corner, menus such as 500 yen of scallop curry with scallops from Lake Saroma and 500 yen of two scallops hamayaki, where you can taste the charcoal-grilled scallops on the spot, are popular. The surrounding area includes an experience plantation, a petureai ranch, a forest square and a dog park, which can be enjoyed as an entertainment venue.

Lake Saroma, with a circumference of about 90km, is a large lake that spans three towns: Jōrocho, Saroma, and Tōteki, Kitami. It is separated from the Sea of Okhotsk by an elongated sandbar extending to about 20km. Located on the south side of the lake, the Saloma Lake Observation Deck, near the peak of Mount Horo Rock, is a rare viewing spot where you can see the full view of the vast lake. The summit can be reached by car, but the mountain trail has two routes, one on the east and one on the west, and the observation deck is about an hour. No night lighting. Winter closure.

A headland that projects small into the lake, east-south of Saroma Lake. There is a campsite at the tip, and in the nearby area, many native plants such as the hamanas in June, the sendaihagi, the irises and the coral grass in autumn bloom, and a group of swans that flew in as winter approached. It is also a great viewing point overlooking Lake Saroma, especially when the sunset is soaked.
