Cape Kodomari

Roadside station on the western shore of the Tsugaru Peninsula, along National Route 339, which runs along the coast. The Kodomari area, where the roadside station is located, is rich in marine products such as yarika and rockfish with the Tsugaru Strait in front of it, and in the summer months, a large number of tourists visit the beach in front of the roadside station and the auto campsite just off the street. The station building is "Orikashinai AC Facility Pontomari", which features an appearance in the image of the rough sea currents of the Sea of Japan, and there is a large selection of processed seafood products from Nakadomari-cho at the property sales office. It also features a petting water tank, which is very popular with children, and a restaurant Ryudomari, where fresh fish and shellfish can be eaten, is also attached.

There is a scene in Dazai's "Tsugaru" where Dazai and his baby servant, Koshino Taketake, are reunited at a sports day at Kodomari Elementary School. A memorial hall stands on a hill overlooking this elementary school, displaying the seniority, photographs and footage of Dazai and Taketake. Two statues also stand. Take 30 minutes.
