JR五能線を走るリゾート列車。青森駅(一部弘前駅発着)から秋田駅まで、JR奥羽本線・五能線経由で往復。広い窓から間近に日本海や白神山地に続く山並み、岩木山などを眺められるのはもちろん、津軽三味線ライブや語りべなど、各列車限定のさまざまな楽しみ方も魅力のひとつ。全車指定席で禁煙。座席がフラットになり、周囲を気にせずくつろげるボックスシートや、津軽三味線ライブも行われる展望室・イベントスペースを完備している。
