The founding of the first year of Gyeongsang (1596). It was reportedly moved from the city of Hirakawa (formerly Hiraga-cho) to its current location on the occasion of the Hirosaki Castle. Although the main hall was rebuilt due to fire, the mountain gate (important cultural property) is estimated to be erected in the middle Edo period. It is commonly referred to as Tsurukemon (Tsurukemon) because it is colored throughout the building, and the upper quadruple plate wall contains a picture of a zodiac, and a crane and turtle are sculpted on a suspended fish.

Mount Iwaki boasts the highest peak in the prefecture at an altitude of 1625m, and has been revered as an object of mountain worship since ancient times. Also known as Tsugaru Fuji, it is a brilliant mountain with a long hem. The Iwaki area is mostly occupied by Mt. Iwaki, and apple fields spread all over the foot of the mountain, and hot springs such as Take Onsen are scattered.
