The Geibi River is explored by a boat-headed rowing by Pingshu. Attractions such as Sohoiwa [Sofugan], and Ma Ryō rock unfold one after another, and the hutsugen's taste drifts in the innermost part. In winter, the kotatsu boat comes out, and you can also eat the wooden sink pot 1620 yen ~ (reservation required). The boatman's singing "Geibi Oiwake" enlivens the journey. 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip. From November 21 to March 31, pets are not allowed to board the house.

The valley of the country-designated Meishatsu, formed by the erosion of the rock face of the Kitakami Mountains by the Sunatetsu River [Satsugawa]. On both banks of the river, rock walls with a height of 30 to 100m continue for about 2km, and you can see a stunning view of waterfalls and rock formations. The new green in spring, the deep green in summer, the autumn leaves, the snowy scenery in winter and the changes of the four seasons are also great. In the valley exploration, the Geihana Gorge Funakari is a staple. It is a boat trip of about 90 minutes for the round trip from the departure and arrival station near JR Geibakei Station and turns back at Sanichigaoka. "Geibi Oiwake", where the boatman is singing while leisurely pointing at the pole, is stirring up. A kotatsu boat also operates in winter.

A Japanese confectionery store famous for its plums (6 pieces 1166 yen) from the former Ichinoseki feudal lord who ordered the first shop owner to make them. The refreshing sweetness of white bean paste with plum meat wrapped in fertilizer and rolled with local perilla salted for a year. In June of the first year of Reiwa (2019), the workshop and the tea space were set up and reopened.
