A long-established noodle shop founded in the year 1909. Manufactures and sells Dentan soba noodles with a unique bittersweet and flavor. The noodles, which used to be made near Lake Baikal in Russia, were brought back and reproduced and stuck to low-temperature natural drying, are 200g 284 yen a bag. Amaranthus udon, Hiesomen 200g 226 yen for each, and Nippon Soba no Yamasesoba 200g 378 yen are also well received.

An old private house and a house of materials stand in the vast grounds, and a camp can be made in the square. The Karumai-cho Historical and Folklore Museum in the park (fee: 150 yen for the entrance. Time: 9:30 to 16:30. Closed: Monday and Tuesday, after the next day if it is a public holiday), featuring iron sand and horse-related materials, as well as archeological materials such as earthenware, agricultural tools and folk implements, and local performing arts in four themes. At the Hall of History and Folklore (fee: admission free), you can listen to light rice folk tales by the storyteller (inquiry required).

The only service area on the Hachinohe Expressway. There is no gas station and it is a small SA, but there are places where you can take a walk, and the driving fatigue is healed. You can see peafowl on the site and refresh while enjoying the scenery of the four seasons. There is a 24-hour convenience store called "Ministop", which also offers a selection of souvenir items from Aomori and Iwate Prefecture, mainly in Hachinohe. The PA on the Hachinohe Motor Road is valuable because there is no stand facility. Powder corners and baby corners for women are also installed.
