It is one of the largest strawberry plantations in Tohoku, and is a tourist plantation that includes a direct-sale shop and a strawberry-picking facility, as well as a cafe and winery.

The park is rich in nature in the hilly area of the western side of the town of Watari. In addition to sports facilities such as baseball fields and tennis courts, there is also a walking forest where you can experience nature, and a scenic pond and a flower garden that makes use of the landscape, so you can feel the season and nature. A popular athletic field for children is also available. There are a variety of installed athletic play equipment, including roller slides that pass through the green with a total length of 60m. "Chikko Square" for small children is available with swings and combination play equipment for infants. From spring cherry blossoms to roses, hydrangeas and cosmos, there are also circular flower beds planted by local high school students.

Regional base facilities located in the city of Iwanuma, Miyagi. It is run by the Youth Overseas Cooperation Association, a public interest corporation made up of OBs, OGs and others from the Youth Overseas Cooperation Corps. The facilities include exercise gyms, natural hot springs, soba schools, nurseries, child care support centers, day service for children with disabilities and the elderly, and can be used on a daily basis by all the old and young men and women of multi-generational and multi-cultural events.
