North of Shiraishi Castle, along the flow of the Sawabata River, which also served as the Sannomaru outer moat, stands a samurai residence that conveys the image of the castle town period. The Katakura family The former Koseki family is reportedly an old building that is more than 260 years old, and you can tour the inside of the mansion. The main floor is preserved. It takes 20 minutes.

Built in Kanei 13 (1636), it is the oldest hot spring communal bathhouse in Naruko Hot Spring Township. It is a symbol of Naruko Hot Spring, which is popular not only with locals but also with tourists. The bathroom is boarded up and has an old-fashioned atmosphere.
