Ozehara Forest Road

The largest and most beautiful moor in the course of the Ruined Forest Road. Showing a gentle slope, the moor widens, and the sparse forests, such as the shirab and the cat's, line up high and low to overrun the moor. It is wonderful in August, when the small yellow flowers of the goldwort can be found all over the surface, and in October, when you can see the black, sparse forests of conifers and the white, snowy mountains of Echigo on the moor of the grass maple.

The six-body Jizo stands under cherry trees near Itakura along National Route 352. Hiji Eki was originally blessed with crops in a high-cold area in the mountains, and many children were decimated due to food shortages during the years of bad harvests. Praying for the happiness, it was set up in 1730 (Kyoho 15). With a meek look, Jizo is dressed in colorful costumes, with offerings constantly, and speaks to the thickness of the villagers' faith.

A mountain trail opened in 1960 (Showa 35) by Nagahide Hirano, the second generation of the main house. For climbers who increase year by year, the route is set up based on the gentle ridgeline that Mr. Nagaei used to ski down Mount Hiyunke, "a course that women can easily climb". It is a quiet road that gently climbs through the forest zone, and the rapid climb begins in front of Mount Minobuchi.
