Golden Temple
An ancient temple of the Shingon sect, which is said to have been founded by Heijōmon during the Chengping Year (931-937). The "vow plum", which is said to have been entrusted with a wish and planted in the garden, leaves the fruit blue without ripening. This is the origin of the name of Ome. The precinct contains cultural objects such as the four-legged front gate, as well as weeping cherry trees, and also holds the statue of a national designated important cultural property, such as the statue of a silken-colored Nyoshiyin Ran Kansei.
