The modern water supply, which is said to be the first in Japan in search of the Doshikawa for the water source of Yokohama, was completed in 1887 with a water pipe buried over about 44km from Tsukui-cho, Sagamihara-shi to Nishi-ku, Yokohama-shi. The "Sakura no Promenade" is a part of the water pipe landfill route that became a greenway called "Suido Michi", about 1.7km of greenway in the Yamato city portion. As the name suggests, various kinds of cherry blossoms color the road. There are many types such as Yoshino cherry blossoms, as well as rice cones and double cherry blossoms, and flower beds are also maintained, so you can enjoy watching flowers for a long time.

Surrounded by greenery, a comprehensive park with facilities including a heated pool with sliders and a children's square. If you book equipment rental and a set of ingredients in advance, you can easily enjoy an empty-handed barbecue without the need for equipment preparation and fire-raising.

A green park with sports and recreation, spread out near Atsugi Airfield. Sports facilities such as large and medium-sized multi-purpose sports plazas and tennis courts are scattered around the plazas where facilities are accepted and shower rooms are located. For children, we recommend the Menapaku Square with large composite playground equipment and the fluffy dome of the outdoor trampoline. There is also a view pond zone where you can play balls, and if the weather is good from the observation deck, you can see the view of Mt. Fuji. Picnic square, commonly known as "Yamatoyama", also looks out over the park and has a great sense of openness.
