A hot spring in the forest

A town-run hot spring facility nestled in the deep mountains near the headwaters of the Fukushi River, with large baths and open-air baths for both men and women. You can enjoy forest bathing while relaxing in a wide open-air bath surrounded by rich trees. You can stay if you book (weekends only).

The station is located in Nanbu-cho, the birthplace of bamboo shoots and southern tea; the goods house sells water boiled bamboo shoots (* sold out early in the year of poor harvest); and the restaurant is popular for a limited time-limited use of bamboo shoots and wild plants, and hand-made soba noodles of soba school "Izumi".

Roadside station, located at the transportation hub of Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures. Since the town of Nanbu has long been known as a green tea source, you can meet a variety of products using Nanbu tea in the facility. The produce sales store sells fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as Baumkuchen, which is made from southern tea kneaded into dough, and sprinkles of tea leaves. At the restaurant, there are plenty of menus featuring southern tea from tea soba to parfait. It also offers local gourmets such as local brand meat, Koshu beef sukiyaki and Fuji Sakura pork cutlet curry, so you can enjoy the food of Nanbu-cho.
