The mudflats are also wide in the sea of a shallow sand pit, and even small children are relieved. It is also popular as a swimming beach after mid-July. Next door, the Hyogo Prefectural Ako Kaihin Park is equipped with a variety of facilities, including Tateho Waku Waku Land, which is home to an amusement facility, as well as an auto campground and tennis courts, one of the largest in the prefecture. There is also Ako Onsen, where you can take a day bath nearby.

A collection and display of fine art and antiquities donated to the city of Ako by the Tafuchi family, who had been running a salt field and a salt shop since the Edo period. Tea tools, which were deeply created by successive heads, have been enriched, and exhibits are conducted according to the seasons.
