Nekosaki Peninsula

The Zen temple of the Rinzai sect, which was reportedly founded as the Suezu temple of Daitoku-ji, Kyoto during the Oei-ei era (1394-1428). In Tenpyo 10 (738), the ancient temple that is transmitted as Dochi Jojin Kaiki. The main hall (Important Cultural Property), which is an eclectic style of Wazama, Tang-sama, and Tenjiku-sama, is the oldest wooden structure in the Tajima region. There are also many temple treasures, such as the Honson Juanji Guanyin (Important Cultural Property), the Jukuzen Shrine statue, and the Hōjō Into (Important Cultural Property). There is an onsenji treasure hall in the precinct. The stone steps from the foot are 450 steps. If you use the ropeway, you may get off at the intermediate station and walk on the mossy stone approach.

An ancient temple of the Shingon sect known as the temple of rhododendrons. About 1000 rhododendrons produce beautiful pink flowers every April. Late autumn leaves are also a must.
