Hōryū-ji Nandaemon
The main gate of the national treasure of the entire Hōryū-ji Gai, which is located at the end of the pine-lined tree approach, which is about 300m. A temple architectural style gate where the great Buddha-like influence is seen on Kibana [Kibana] and Hana Hijiki [Hanahijiki], an octrek gate of the Irimoya-style. It was located at the position of the stone steps in front of Chōmon at the time of the Hōryū-ji Temple, but was moved to its current location in the 4th year of Chōgen (1031), burned down in the 7th year of Eikyo (1435) during the Muromachi period, and rebuilt in the 10th year of Eikyo (1438) to this day. Don't miss the main-tiled roof with beautiful warping curves at the four corners, and the "bream stone" at the front of the gate, which is one of the seven wonders of Hōryuji and is said to be a water shelter if you step on it.
