Akitakada Museum of History and Folklore

A roadside station adjacent to the China Expressway Takada IC. In the nostalgic retro hall, in addition to the local Takamiya and Mishisato-cho, as well as the morning-picked vegetables in the Akitakada area, as well as the rare sea-produced strings collected from Sanyo Hamada and Setouchi, there is a line of "Nagaiki Ramen Shokudo" where you can taste ramen featuring noodles made of turmeric and local gourmet Yasha udon in Akitakada City.

Motonari Mohri, who took advantage of his own knowledge and the strengths of his three sons (Takamoto Mori, Motoharu Yoshikawa, Takakage Kobayakawa) to become the largest Sengoku daimyō in western Japan. After bringing down the curtain of his life at the age of 75, he was buried at the foot of Mount Kōrijo, where he lived. Around the grave, there are also tombs of the castle owners of Koriyama Castle and the million-one-piece monument. The tomb is surrounded by a tamagaki, but ordinary customers can enter the tamagaki and worship only on the day of the tomb festival held on July 16 every year.

It was confirmed as the castle of the Mōri clan in the late 15th century, and the entire Kōriyama area was citaalized during the time of Mōri Motonari, who rose to become the largest Sengoku daimyō in western Japan. It is a large-scale mountain castle in the Warring States period with 270 large and small rings, and a number of historical sites of Yukari remain at the foot of the mountain, centered on the graves of Motoju and his eldest son, Takamoto.
