Zenpuku Temple
Uigsuzan Zenpuku-ji Temple was a temple of the Rinzai sect founded at the foot of Mount Uiguge during the Eikyo Year (1429-1440), and was moved to this ground because of the Hagi Castle Tsuki Castle by Terugen Mohri. It holds documents that were given to the temple by Yoshitaka Ouchi, but bears the place name of Hagi, which is said to be the oldest document in which the place name of Hagi was written. In addition, there is a Kirishitan lantern with a carved statue of Maria on the trunk in the precinct.
