Takeo Hot Springs, Mass Baths
Takeo Onsen with a history of 1300 years. Passing through the tower gate, which is reminiscent of Ryugai Castle standing at the entrance of the hot spring, there is a new building used as a mass bathhouse, all by Kingo Tatsuno, who designed Tokyo Station, and has been designated as a National Important Cultural Property. In the vicinity, there are Motoyu, which is a retromood perfect in the architecture of Meiji 9 (1876), Hourai-yu, which retains the atmosphere of the Showa era, En-no-yu with a sauna and an open-air bath, and the royal bath, which was a private bath of the Nabeshima clan Takeo lord. You can enjoy hot springs in a variety of bathhouses.
