It is a small temple that falls on the end of the temple of the adjacent Yunryū-ji, but the old temple was founded in the age of Oei 25 (1418). There is the Unoden, which celebrates the Bengeten, in the precinct of the care.

The park spread over a rolling hilly area, with the site of Takayama Castle and the Ninomaru Children's Amusement Park. From the top of the small mountain at an altitude of 687m, the weather allows a clear view of Mount Norikura and Hotaka Rendong. It is also known as a famous spot of cherry blossoms in spring and autumn in autumn. The promenade is well-maintained, and you can enjoy walking, forest bathing, and bird watching.

In the 10th year of Keijō (1605), the national guard of Hida, Kanamori, made a donation of the company land and the shrine as the Ujimin in the southern area of the castle and Takayama. Since then, he has attracted worship as a southern jen-shō against the northern jen-shō, Sakurayama Hachiman-gū. The Spring Takayama Festival is held as the regular festival of this shrine. The main hall is built in style, while the main hall is built in a three-way frame with a three-way edge. The 43m high and 1000-year-old Osugi in front of the shrine is a natural monument of the prefecture.
