Hongkei Temple

A day-bath facility where you can take a bath in the hot water at the source of the natural hot springs. The tub is rich in variety, including the nightwater and electric hot water. It is also equipped with family baths, salt saunas and meditation saunas that can be rented.

The historic city of Joso, which was ruled by the Toyoda clan from the late Heian period to the Sengoku period. The three to six floors of Toyota Castle, which is a symbol of the city, is an exhibition room on the third floor. On the third floor, the history of the former Ishishita district from ancient times to modern times is displayed using models and replicas, including ancient documents. On the sixth floor, the story features the Nagatsuka festival [Takashi], known for its enduring rural literature masterpiece "Soil", through sound and footage. There is also an observation deck on the 7th floor, and on a clear day you can see Mount Tsukuba, as well as Mount Fuji and Nikkoranzan.

In addition to rabbits, there is also a petting zoo, tennis courts, a barbecue place, a swimming pool, and a fishing moat in the vast park of grounds located along the Sugo marsh. More than 120 kinds of wild birds can be observed annually in Sugao-numa, where swans fly, and bird watching can be enjoyed in the wild bird viewing house. There is also a lodge and a campsite, and day bathing is also possible on holidays in an observation bath with views of Suganuma. You can also experience farming, such as digging potatoes and sweet potatoes according to the season, planting rice, and harvesting rice.
