A local restaurant directly managed by Otakiya Ryokan, located near Yujuku Onsen, just before it leads to Sarugakyo Onsen. About 180 years ago, the store, which was relocated to a late-Edo silkworm farmer and used it as it is, has a magnificent architecture, and the inside of the store also has a hearth, which makes me nostalgic. The specialty Gorobei Udon 800 yen is udon noodles made of wide noodles and shiitake mushrooms, duck meat and other dishes cooked in miso, and the Gorobei set meal, which includes Gorobei Udon and Miso Oden, mixed rice (Awa rice or Hie rice) and sashimi konjaku, is recommended at 1200 yen. Udon, set meals and menu are abundant, and you can enjoy the flavors of Okutone such as Nejkko and Miso-yaki.
