Iinoyama

"Iinoyama", which spans the cities of Marugame and Sakaide, is a beautiful mountain in the shape of a cone, also known as "Sanuki Fuji"; at an altitude of 422m, it has been designated as the 100 Meisan Mountains of New Japan and the 100 Meisan Mountains of Shikoku.

In addition, it consists of forests centered on broadleaf trees (such as oak, yamazakura, etc.) and has been designated as the Seto Inland Sea National Park and Landscape Forest at an altitude of 100m or more. The peaks are dotted with the Yakushido and the Showa Emperor's Monument, and the observation deck is dotted with the footprints of the great man "Ojomo" who built Sanuki Fuji, and megaliths and boulders called "Ojomō".
In addition, in 2009, April 22 was referred to as "Sanuki Fuji Day" in connection with an altitude of 422m, and the "Satoyama Festival" (Yamabashi) is held every year. There is also a great hoto ceremony at the summit.
