Located at the western end of Wakayama City, on the border with Osaka Prefecture, "Kata" is a beautiful port city facing the sea. You can enjoy the rich nature while being conveniently located about a 50-minute drive from Kansai International Airport.
This land is a historic scenic spot where its beauty was also chanted in the Japanese songbook "Man'yōshū", which is about 1,300 years old. The coastline facing the Kianakai (Kitanakaikyo) still retains its unchanging beauty.
In addition, Kada is also famous as a "sacred place for fishing". In particular, the "single fishing of natural red snapper", which is carefully fished by skilled fishermen with just a needle and thread, is known as one of Japan's best brands. Taste the fresh sea of good luck while admiring the historic scenery. Experience a luxury moment that can only be tasted at Kada.

Tomogashima, a southern-country paradise floating in the Jianan Strait, is an exotic spot where rich nature and historical heritage coexist under the generic name of Jinoshima, Torajima, Kamishima, and Okinoshima.
The Okinoshima island, which can be landed, is dotted with gun battery tracks that leave the image of a former fortress era, and among them the brick ruins of the "3rd Battery Remains" have become a big topic as if they were lost in the world of anime. Soak up your hike as you enjoy the fantastic landscape woven by the blue sea and deep greenery, and the quietly decaying historical heritage. The only means of landing is the ferry.
