On this occasion, as the 5th special exhibition of the Amako Soubee Manga Gallery, we will hold the “Nintama no Tomo – Jin no Maki Original Art Exhibition” to commemorate the release of “Rakudai Ninja Rantaro Official Ninjutsu & Techniques Edition: Nintama no Tomo – Jin no Maki” (written by Soubee Amako), published by Asahi Shimbun Publications on February 24 this year.
This book is filled with knowledge of “ninjutsu”—such as stealth techniques, tactics, martial arts, and psychological skills—used by the students and teachers of the Ninjutsu Academy, as well as “yōjutsu,” which explains how these techniques, strategies, and methods are applied. It is a volume that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
In this exhibition, the original artworks of the cover illustration, color manga, and monochrome manga specially created for this book will be shown to the public for the first time. In addition, ninja tools from the Amako Office collection will be displayed alongside the manga scenes in which they appear, offering a multifaceted experience of the charm of “Rakuran.” Please enjoy the world of ninjutsu and yōjutsu brought to life from the pages at the venue.
