The Shibusawa azalea is characterized by reaching a height of 4 to 6m, with three clusters of bright purple-colored flowers. About 4000 trees are native to the Shibusawa Atsuji Park, and the community is designated as a natural monument in Shizuoka Prefecture. The sale of Gohei rice cakes and other items will be held.

Over 170 towns in the city perform kite-flying at the Nakadashima kite-flying venue during the period. The kite contains the design of each town, and the "first kite" celebrating the birth of a child is fried. From the evening, the palace stalls are set around in the city center, and the palace stalls, which are cruised to the sound of Ogoko, are beautifully lit up, and luxurious sculptures emerge. As a sacred site of the Yenzhou textile, the festival is held in prayer for the development of the textile industry and business prosperity, and family security. It was designated as a Hamamatsu City Intangible Folk Cultural Property in the year of Reiwa 2 (2020). A ritual image is offered to weave an Onzo with the silk thread of Mikawa Akahiki and consecrated to the shrine of Ise (Inner Palace) on May 15 every year.
