The "Harunoki-shi", which has a history since the middle of the Meiji era, is familiar to citizens as a wind poem that tells Kagoshima of spring, and plants, potted items, etc., will be exhibited and sold. In addition, "Autumn Tree City" is held similarly in the fall. * It may change depending on the situation.

At Sengan-en, the "Kyokusui-en" is held every spring as a traditional event. Kyokusui-en is one of the poetry gatherings that have been held since ancient times, where poets stand by the flowing water and compose waka poetry while waiting for a sake cup to arrive from upstream, creating an elegant and profound atmosphere. Kagoshima's winter tradition "Minato O-dori Park Illumination," which has been ongoing since 1992, will be reborn this time with a new design. The theme is "A Tree-Lined Path of Light." The park, enveloped in fantastical light, feels like a world from a story. An installation inspired by Kagoshima City's symbol "Magma City" will also be added, delivering a moment filled with warmth and brilliance. Additionally, a Christmas Eve exclusive event will be held on December 24 (Wed). Enjoy a special night woven with illumination, music, and performances.
