A festival in memory of Ono Komachi, a poet of Heian, where seven Komachi daughters selected from the city dress up in Ichimenakasa and revel and dedicate waka chants by Ono Komachi.

"Kadar" means "to participate" in the Akita dialect. At the special venue in the Akunomiya Onsen area, local people and visitors gather to create mini kamakura, and at dusk, candles are lit, transforming it into a fantastical "Mini Kamakura Romantic Corridor." There are plenty of events, including food stalls and the Donto Burning. Finally, "Snow Fireworks" will be launched to color the winter sky. It is said that it began in the 4th year of Shōtoku (1715) when the town was first established, as a side event of the Aso Shrine festival. It presents a grand and splendid scroll pattern reminiscent of the luxurious past, with a wealthy lord on horseback at the center, guarded by warriors, and followed by spear bearers, gunmen, archers, palanquin bearers, raincoat carriers, falconers, bait carriers, palace doctors, medicine carriers, and foot soldiers, along with a procession of dazzling decorative floats, dancers, musicians, and young performers. In front of each neighborhood's meeting place, retainers bend their waists and perform unique movements as they parade through the city.
