Gifu plum festival

It is about 8m in the precinct of the Kanseong-ji Temple and about 1.5m around the base of the country-designated natural monument, Chōshōhōbaku, which is located in the precinct of the Kanseong-ji Temple. It is seen in early April, and there are many people who visit it, such as the sale of gohira rice cakes.

Fireworks are launched to celebrate the opening of Ukai, which boasts more than 1,300 years of history and tradition. The excursion begins on May 11 and runs until October 15, and is held every night except for the holiday day and the day of rising water. In a jet black night, under a sparkling bonfire, you can see 10 to 12 cormorants operating and catching fish with a stunning hand rope, and the "total" of cormorant boats descending the river side by side is just spectacular. On the day, it is crowded with tourists from outside the city who waited for the opening.

Held on the night of the second Saturday in April every year as part of the rituals at Chikiryuu Shrine. Amidst the echoing sound of firecrackers in the shrine grounds, men with their upper bodies bare energetically carry a portable shrine adorned with fireworks. As intense sparks rain down, the audience is captivated by the competition of flames and sounds. *Due to the lack of parking, the use of public transportation is recommended.
