[Railway]
JR Joetsu "Time" "Taniwa"/Hokuriku Shinkansen "Hakutaka" takes about 40-53 minutes from Ueno to Takasaki Station. Transfer from Takasaki Station to JR Ryomo Line about 12-13 minutes to Maebashi Station. Total about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes. The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee when using the Grand Class.

From Nerima IC, take Kanetsu-do to Maebashi IC for about 1 hour and 14 minutes.
[High-speed bus]
About 2 hours and 45 minutes from Busta Shinjuku to Shinmaebashi Station.

[Railway]
Take the JR Tōkaidō Shinkansen "Nozomi" train from Shin-Osaka Station to Tokyo Station for about 2 hours 21 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. For access from Tokyo Station to Takasaki Station, refer to the Tokyo traffic column. Total about 3 hours and 55 minutes. The Japan Rail Pass requires an additional fee when using Grand Class Nozomi.
