"Akame 48 Waterfalls" is located upstream of Takigawa River, which flows along the prefectural border between Mie and Nara. A number of waterfalls are continuous, and a promenade connecting all the waterfalls is maintained. This time, you can enjoy trekking and Shinrin-yoku while taking plenty of negative ions. In particular, we will introduce the charm of Akame Five Waterfalls, which is said to be a highlight, along with the precautions and surrounding information.
The city of Nabari, Mie Prefecture, which flourished as the post town of A visit to Ise Jingu. Located in the center of Muro-Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park in the city of Nabari, "Akame 48 Waterfalls" is a scenic spot where various waterfalls, large and small, flow through a valley that stretches for about 4km. In the valley, there are 23 waterfalls, including a waterfall with only a famous waterfall. Because of the beauty of the waterfalls flowing into the valley, they were also selected as "Japanese Waterfalls 100" and "Shinrin-yoku Forest 100".
The roughly 3.3km excursion that connects each waterfall has a well-maintained promenade, and you can enjoy trekking and Shinrin-yoku while admiring the beautiful waterfalls. Even if you go around all the waterfalls, the travel time is about 3 hours round trip. Among the many waterfalls, Fudo-taki, Senjyu-taki, Nunobiki-taki, Ninai-taki, and Biwa-taki are known as Akame Five Waterfalls, each of which has its own personality and has a large scale. For sightseeing purposes, it is recommended to stroll through the course around these five waterfalls.
This time, I actually visited Akame Five Waterfalls, which is said to be a particularly highlight in the "Akame 48 Waterfalls"! As for the outfit, if it's summer, the tops are short-sleeved, but for bugs and injuries, the bottoms should be worn with long pants in any season. To walk by the water, it is easy to slip and used to walking shoes are mast. There are no stands or dining places in the walking course, so it is safe to bring more drinks
In addition, since mobile radio waves do not reach the inside of the valley, let's walk at pace so that the interval does not open when visiting with more than one person, such as family or group. If you discover injured people or falling rocks on the way, contact the management center via the interphones of emergency contact points scattered within the course.
When you're ready, stroll through Akame Five Waterfalls♪First of all, we will introduce a course of about 30 minutes each way from the entrance gate of the valley, which takes on a relatively gentle path of three of Akame Five Waterfalls: Fudo-taki, Senjyu-taki and Nunobiki-taki. Walk about 5 minutes from the entrance gate and discover Fudo-taki! It is a famous waterfall with a height of 15m, named after Fudo Myo-o. The view from the Fudo-bashi over the valley is just spectacular.
After a further 15-minute walk from Fudo-taki, you will arrive at Senjyu-taki, where water can pass through the rocks. The height is 15m, and the origin of the name is that the flow looks like The Thousand-Armed Kannon. You can see the surrounding trees, rocks, and waterfall pots that enhance the beauty of each of them.
At a height of 30m, Nunobiki-taki is located at a point about 3 minutes from Senjyu-taki. It is said that the name came from the appearance of falling like a piece of cloth. The waterfall pot is as deep as about 30m, and the power of the water that has been gouged through solid rock can be felt.
It takes about 45 minutes on foot from the third Nunobiki-taki to the fourth Ninai-taki, so it is better for beginners to turn around here. In addition, there are steep roads and steep stairs leading from Nunobiki-taki, and the difficulty level increases a lot, so if you want to challenge, make sure to prepare in advance.
The sound of trees swaying in the wind, the beautiful leaking of trees, the moss feeling the wind, and so on, I made my way through the steps while enjoying the nature, and I arrived at Ninai-taki! The magnificent sight of the stream splitting into two by a large rock is called the best valley. The height is 8m, which is the smallest waterfall in Akame Five Waterfalls, but the large waterfall is creating a unique power.
If you show the last step and walk about 10 minutes from Ninai-taki, you will arrive at the Biwa-taki of the goal! This waterfall, which flows down from a height of 15m, is named because it resembles the biwa of an instrument in shape. The 10m deep waterfall pot, surrounded by a precipice, is characterized by a deep, dense color that is likely to be sucked in. After enjoying the beauty of the waterfall leisurely, let's turn back on the outbound route and return to the entrance gate.
There is a restaurant in the vicinity of Akame 48 Waterfalls. The "Akame Waterfalls Aquarium", which is attached to the entrance gate of the Akame Valley, is a giant aquarium integrated with the valley based on the concept of "An aquarium connected to the nature of Akame 48 Waterfalls" and displays amphibians and eight species of mosses. Japanese giant salamander, designated as special natural monuments, can also be observed. The entrance fee is included in the valley conservation fee.
If you buy a souvenir of Akame 48 Waterfalls, go to "Tamakiya", which is about a three-minute walk from the entrance gate. You can buy a rustic, Hekoki Manju, which is filled with plenty of sweet potato bean in a ninja-shaped dough.
In addition to plain, you can choose a variety of flavors such as grain bean paste, cream cheese, apples, and not to mention souvenirs, it is also recommended to buy before the walk and taste while looking at the beautiful waterfall.
