A staple of Tottori tourism! One of the largest coastal dunes in the country. Let's walk on the dunes with your own feet first. If you have time, ride a camel or check out gourmet and dune souvenirs at the surrounding spots.

Suna no Bijutsukan

A sand statue made of sand and water only. Since its opening in 2006, the concept has been "Travel World in Sand". Every year, a sand statue is created based on the theme of the country and region, and its history and culture are used as motifs. There is no doubt that you will be attracted to dynamic art.

Burning in Kurayoshi, a city of red tiles and white walls

It is a former castle town lined with buildings of Shirakabe Dozo, and commercial facilities utilizing miso and soy sauce storehouses from the Edo and Meiji eras are gathered in the central Utsubuki district. These buildings are collectively referred to as Akagawara because of the red tiles.

Photo session with Yokai on Mizuki Shigeru Road

From the Kitaro family to the maniacal Yōkai, walk along the streets aligned, visit the yōkai spots scattered in various places, and find your favorite yōkai! There are also sweets and goodies of cute characters that can only be found here.

Enjoy seafood gourmet at Sakai-ko!

Sakai-ko is one of Japan's best fishing ports with a large amount of crab. Fresh crabs and many seafood will be on the market as they are in the morning.
