Founded in 1931 in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, as a bean paste manufacturing business. Initially, we sold separately packaged monaka filled with "red bean," "white bean," and "matcha" paste, but from a customer's suggestion of "I want to try them all, but it's hard to eat three at once, how about putting three types of paste in one monaka?" our signature product "Sanshoku Monaka," which is also the name of our business, was born. With the catchphrase "One is delicious, three tastes," it became a representative wagashi of Sendai. We continue to uphold the founder's commitment to using azuki beans sourced from Tokachi, Hokkaido, and creating confections that enhance the flavor of the paste. Other products include "Date no Taiko," which blends the flavor of egg yolk and chestnut in white bean paste, "Date no Bonten," which wraps special red bean paste and chewy mochi in choux pastry, and "Date no Goma Maru," which has a gentle aroma and sweetness of sesame paste.

One of the largest malls in Tohoku with over 200 stores. In addition to fashion and interior shops, there are plenty of gourmet and amusement options for families to enjoy.
