A long-established store that is founded in the year of Meiji 34 (1901). The specialty dakigara is made of cold ice mixed with walnuts, and has a nostalgic and rustic taste. Three bottles of 1134 yen. Five wasp feet (cheese buns) 700 yen is also popular.

In the early Showa period, when bananas were still valuable, 140 yen for one soya banana made by recreating the flavor of the fruit as it is. The banana-flavored white paste is contained in the banana-shaped dough. One mini type is 108 yen. The crisp, sticky "Obako rice cake" is also well received.

During the old feudal era, there were over 100 craftsmen of bent woodwork in Odate, known as Odate Magewappa. Here at Odate Kogeisha, we use beautiful, resilient Akita cedar with a fine grain, which is thinly shaved and bent using a unique method, then sewn together with the bark of mountain cherry. In the attached showroom, we display and sell simple and beautiful Magewappa products, ranging from soba cups to mugs, bento boxes, vases, and trays. Additionally, in the "Handicraft Studio," you can experience making Odate Magewappa. Currently, the available courses include round bread plates, 7-inch trays, small round bento boxes, and large round bento boxes.
