Bandia Herb Garden

A bread workshop located in a place close to Lake Hibara and Lake Onogawa in Backbandai. Taking advantage of the clean environment of the plateau, the restaurant is popular to carefully bake bread using natural materials. There are many kinds, such as Camembert cheese bread and walnut raisins, all of which are recommended. When eating in the eat-in space in the store, it is nice to warm the bread and serve it. It will close as soon as it is sold out, so let's leave early.

A quiet campsite on the southern shore of Lake Sohara in Backbandai. Because it is a free-site campsite with no lots in the tent space, you can set up a tent with a car nearby. The bungalow is equipped with 4 types. You can rent a boat and enjoy plenty of nature, such as boating and bass fishing, or rowing a canoe. A handy day camp is also recommended.

We prepare various experience courses that are familiar with the nature of backbandai. From programs that can be enjoyed all year round, such as nature observation where you can interact with trees, wild grass, wild birds, insects, shower walks where you can play in the clear stream close to the headwaters, snowshoes and nature skiing in snowy mountains, there are plenty of experience courses. There is also a climbing gym "Halerock" in the Mokumoku Nature School Guide Center. Both rainy days and blizzard days can be actively spent indoors.
