A long-established wagashi shop with a history of about 140 years. The specialty miso manju is 140 yen each. It contains spicy miso, local shiso, and eggplant, representing the home-cooked flavors of Gunma. In winter, there is the nanppa manju for 184 yen each, and in spring, the strawberry daifuku for 340 yen each also make an appearance.

SA is a building with a Japanese atmosphere and is full of local ingredients in Shinshu and Suzhou. It is perfect to take a break over the Usui Pass where the curve continues. A view of Mount Myoseiyama, which is lined with rock formations in front of you. One of Japan's leading station benches, "Toge no Kamameshi" and "Usui Pass no Riki mochi" are specialty. At the Memorial Corner, where some of the real train cars were installed, the Shinetsu Main Line Yokogawa Station at the time of the "Toge no Kamameshi" sales was recreated. You can enjoy a meal at the rest corner that mimics the guest room. In addition to the "Oginoya" stand, which is famous for "Toge no Kamameshi", there are also menus where you can taste "Toge no Kamameshi" in restaurants and food courts.

A service area full of resort feeling based on the concept of "Karuizawa Gate". Western-style garden under clear air, in a European-style facility design. They also have a freshly baked bakery, fine sweets, a gourmet zone using ingredients unique to Joshu and Shinshu, and a shopping corner with the specialty of Joshinetsu. From this SA, it will be over the Usui Pass, where the curves and tunnels of the steep road continue, so it is a good rest point to take a break.
