A sake shop located along National Route 8, overlooking the Sea of Japan. It offers a selection of rare and limited sake from Niigata, perfect for travel memories and souvenirs. The second floor of the store features a free rest area with views of "Aomi River Station," said to be the closest station to the Sea of Japan, and the tourist spot "Lover's Cape" in Kashiwazaki, allowing families to relax comfortably. The shop is located at the top of a steep hill after getting off at Aomi River Station.

Located in Yachihiko Sado Yoneyama National Park, a service area with an outstanding location. The Yoneyama IC is attached. There is an observation deck in the area, a sacred peak and Yoneyama spread out in front, and you can see the island of Sado floating in the Sea of Japan from the back of the site. The silhouette of the sea and Sado Island, which are steeped in the setting sunset, is one of the most beautiful on the Hokuriku Expressway. Aim for the evening hours, I want to enjoy the exquisite scenery as well as a break. The recommended is "snapper rice bream tea pickle" which is a local specialty of Kashiwazaki. "Fukuura Hakkei-don" and "Salmon Tuna-don" are also reputed as delicious. You can taste it at the restaurant "Fukuura", which is proud of the sea.

A museum located in the Kaze no Oka Kashiwazaki Collection Village. It houses approximately 50,000 local toys collected by Shoji Iwashita from Kashiwazaki. Out of the collection, 10,000 items are on display. In addition to the blue-eyed doll from the early Showa period, which was a goodwill ambassador for Japan-U.S. friendship, traditional kokeshi dolls, earthen bells, papier-mâché, clay dolls, kites, and various local toys from across Japan, as well as items rooted in traditional customs and daily life, are showcased. The visit takes about 30 minutes. You can also experience painting the representative local toy of Niigata, the triangular daruma, and solve puzzles. If you solve the puzzle, you will receive a mini triangular daruma as a gift.
