Oshima Campgrounds

A sightseeing boat that allows you to enjoy the scenery of Noto Kongo from the sea. The impressive cliffs, such as the Gankutsu, which have been eroded by the rough waves of the Sea of Japan over thousands of years, the 27-meter tall tower-like Taka no Su Iwa, and the Go board island where Yoshitsune and Benkei are said to have enjoyed playing Go, showcase the dramatic rock formations and rugged landscapes of Noto Kongo. Masuhoura Coast, known as one of the "Three Great Shellfish Spots in Japan" along with Yuigahama in Kamakura and Wakaura in Kii. The central facility of the "Nagisa Coastal Park" developed along this coast is this roadside station. In the souvenir corner inside the building, local specialties from Shika Town are sold, including sakura shell goods, dried persimmons, red soil watermelon, Kaneyo soy sauce, seaweed, and fresh live fish. In the dining area, seafood rice bowls made with fish sourced from local fishing ports and stamina bowls with Noto pork are recommended. The sweet shrimp tempura burger and Baron soft serve ice cream are also popular. Inside the building, there is a sakura shell museum displaying 300 types of small shells washed ashore at Masuhoura Coast, and you can also enjoy sakura shell craft experiences. The park also features the "world's longest bench," a grand golf course, tennis courts, and a hotel where you can enjoy day-use hot spring baths.
