Tsukukan

"Mahora" is a word also mentioned in "Man'yōshū", meaning "a wonderful place." as its name suggests, it is attractive with its extensive facilities. There are two large bathhouses, brick-style and stone-built, with a weekly change of gender. Functional bathtubs such as the source of the hot water are lined up, and there is an open-air bath. The hall is equipped with a large hall, private rooms and a dining room for a fee.

A day-use hot spring facility located in a mountainous area blessed with forests and clear waters in Fujikawacho, renowned for its high-quality spring water. The spring water, with a temperature of 38°C, emerges from a rock bed formed by an underwater volcano and is highly regarded for its rich benefits. The large bath features a variety of amenities including a vibrational bath, jet bath, sleeping bath, and sauna, and the outdoor bath, adorned with black granite, offers a view of the surrounding deep mountain landscape. After bathing, guests can relax in a large hall that also serves as a dining area or in paid private rooms. Nearby, the Oyanagigawa Gorge is perfect for hiking, making it a great addition to your visit.
