Misaka Togengo Park

Located at Shinmichi Pass on the border of Fuefuki City and Fujikawaguchiko Town in Yamanashi Prefecture, there are two observation decks at an altitude of 1600m. From either the First Terrace (First Observation Deck) or the Second Terrace (Second Observation Deck), which is 80m away, you can enjoy an overwhelming view of Mount Fuji in its graceful form directly in front of you, with Lake Kawaguchi sprawling below. Since the Mizugasawa Forest Road leading to the observation decks is closed to general vehicles, visitors can use a dedicated bus from the "Lily Bell Hut," which consists of a tourist information center and café set up at the parking lot for the lily colony. It is also possible to walk there, and walking through the greenery from Lily Bell Hut to FUJIYAMA Twin Terrace takes about 50 minutes, which is also recommended.

There is a colony of Suzuran in the headwaters of Ashikawa, Fuefuki City. There are about two million native species of "Nippon Suzuran", which is also very valuable nationwide, on a 2.6-hectare site, and it was designated as a natural monument in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1972. The flower language of Suzuran is known as a flower that calls for happiness, such as "I will surely be happy" and "Happiness will return." flowering conditions usually begin to bloom from mid-May and can be enjoyed until early June.
