Moriyama Natural Onsen Hotaru no Uto

A large shopping center located on the east side of Lake Biwa Bridge. There are plenty of restaurants where you can eat while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Lake Biwa, as well as popular apparel shops in Japan and abroad. There is also a futsal court and athletic facilities on site, which can be enjoyed throughout the day. In recent years, cyclists from all over the country have attracted attention as the starting point of “Biwaichi”, which goes around Lake Biwa by bicycle. There is also a hot bath facility with fitness attached.

A band-shaped park in the northwest of the city, close to Lake Biwa Bridge East. On the shore road to the north, you face Lake Biwa, and in winter, you can overlook the Hira Mountains [Hira Sankei], which is very beautiful with snow [Kansetsu], on the opposite shore, and you can enjoy good views. There is also a "Biwako Cycling Sacred Land Monument" set up by Moriyama City, hoping to establish itself as a departure and departure point for "Biwaichi" cycling around Lake Biwa.

Against the backdrop of the snow-covered Hira Mountains and the majestic Lake Biwa, about 12,000 "Kanbaku Hanasai" flowers open in late January-early February, and the same number of sunflowers in summer.
