Asuka Vineyard

A souvenir shop located in front of Asuka-dera Temple. It sells local specialties from Asuka Village, including "Asuka no Su," an ancient cheese made from milk that has been simmered using a special method, recorded as being made in the late 7th century, priced at 1200 yen for 80g, as well as Asuka curry made with Yamato chicken and Asuka vegetables from Asuka Village, and local Tokusei soy sauce. There are also figurines of haniwa and bronze bells.

With elevated cultivation, you can easily harvest while standing. The greenhouse ensures comfort even in the rain, and it's warm in the cold winter. Enjoy strawberry picking with the sweet and tangy "Asuka Ruby."

A roadside station along National Route 169 in front of Kintetsu Asuka Station. The main feature is the Asuka General Information Center "Asuka Bito no Yakata," which provides information on historical assets from the Asuka period, such as the "Takamatsuzuka Tomb Murals," and tourism information about Asuka Village, with volunteer guides available. Bicycle rentals are also offered. There is a direct sales shop "Asuka Dream Sales Office" selling fresh vegetables, fruits, and processed products grown in Asuka Village. It offers a rich variety of seasonal flavors and rare varieties at low prices, with the reassurance of high freshness and knowing the producers. Light meals, including soft serve ice cream made with the specialty strawberry "Asuka Ruby," are also available.
