Yoshinoji Kamikitayama

At the southern end of the Taitaka Mountains, a plateau plateau extending through Mount Hidega at an altitude of 1695m at its main peak. It is also called the roof of Kinki. It is one of the most rainy areas in Japan with annual rainfall reaching more than 3500mm, and it is a dynamic and mysterious nature such as the primeval forest where mossy fallen trees lie, the grasslands of Miyakozasa, and the high-rise moors. You can also meet wild animals such as sika deer. There is the Todaidai course, where beginners can easily climb the mountain starting from the mountaintop parking lot, and the Nishi-Odai course (application: Kamikita Yamamura Chamber of Commerce), which became the first use-adjusted district in Japan. The Dongdaidai course is about 9km, 4 hours, while the West Daidai course is about 10km, 5 hours and 30 minutes. Driveway closures from late November to late April.

A hot spring facility using the hot water that springs up at the foot of Otaikehara. Boasting an abundance of hot water and one of the best in the prefecture, the hot water bath is a large bath of Aomori Hiba and granite stone baths and a stone open-air bath, which can be enjoyed while surrounded by deep greenery.
