The Tsuri-gane Manju, associated with the legend of Anchin and Kiyohime, is one of the representative souvenirs of Gobo. Other items include Tsuri-gane Monaka and the hometown Kishu Ume, which is a whole domestic plum wrapped in white bean paste.

The company was founded in the first year of the Genko (1688) by its ancestors, who were Kaikaikuaiya at the time. Since then, 330 years have followed the old way, and everything has been handmade. Horikawaya is the oldest surviving storehouse in Wakayama, the birthplace of soy sauce. The store also handles items from Horikawaya, as well as recommended ingredients and liquors from manufacturers around the country who have been with them for many years. Mitsuboshi Soy sauce 900 ml 1836 yen and Sanzanji miso 400g barrel in 1512 yen.

Founded in the 5th year of the Bunka era (1808), this long-established company manufactures and sells "Kishu Kananzhi Miso." All ingredients are domestically sourced and additive-free. The Kishu Kananzhi Miso, infused with the flavors of vegetables like burdock, eggplant, and ginger, is priced from 1912 yen for 700g. The chili miso favored by the 8th shogun Yoshimune, and the burdock miso at 821 yen for 250g, are also popular. They also provide new recipes using Kishu Kananzhi Miso for grilled fish, salads, and toast.
