Utopia Scioto

A hot spring comprehensive facility that stands on a plateau at an altitude of 600m in the West China Mountains. A ground golf course certified by the Japan Ground Golf Association is also located on the large site. Hot springs in inner and outdoor baths with jacuzzi. It overlooks the mountains far away, and at night the open-air bath with a perfect starry sky is well received. The dining facilities include the restaurant Sensui, as well as the "Gehoku Dolce", an ice cream workshop directly managed by a local dairy farmer, where you can eat rich dolce with plenty of freshly squeezed raw milk.

You can enjoy picking strawberries from late December to late May and picking grapes from early August to late September. Fresh smoothies and frozen fruits, which are made with fruit picked from plantations, are sold year-round. It is located about an hour's drive from Hiroshima city, in the immediate vicinity of the roadside station, Toyohira Acorn Village. For groups, reservations are recommended from the official site of the plantation.

It is located on the side of the Chiyoda IC on the Chugoku Expressway and is convenient as a base for express buses and transit buses. It sells local flavors such as rice, doburoku, country sushi and rice cakes, as well as fresh vegetables. There is a Viking restaurant called "Kao" (closed on Wednesday), which uses local vegetables.
