Ishibune Hot Springs

A valley located upstream of the clear stream, Shimajigawa. Walking along the approximately 2.2 km promenade beside the valley, the sound of the clear stream flowing through the greenery and the scenery created by numerous large rocks will soothe your heart. The fresh greenery in spring and the autumn leaves are particularly exceptional. There is also a campsite, with 10 tent sites located within Takase San Sports Land at the entrance of Takase Gorge.

In the beautiful green mountains and the flow of the clear river, you can experience the ease of a moment while feeling the taste of nature.

The history of Yunohama Onsen is ancient, with a legend that Empress Jingu treated her feverish prince in the hot springs long ago. At the long-established ryokan, Hoshiyamaen, day-use bathing is also available. The separate indoor baths for men and women each have three types: an indoor jet bath, a 28°C source spring bath, and a 17°C bottom temperature water bath. Each also has two types of saunas. The garden open-air bath includes a rock bath, a sleeping bath, and two ceramic baths with flowing source spring water, along with a spacious outdoor bathing area where you can feel the night breeze from the Yomichi River. There are also day-use plans that include bathing and lunch.
